Update 0.3.6.1


This update doesn't do a whole lot and mostly focuses on doing minor design tweeks and improving the legibility of the game's mechanics and UI. From here until the end of the month I will be focusing on finishing what I feel is the basic core of the game's design and really musing on that.


Features:

  • Machine Track Movement: when you operate the factory machines, the game will automatically slide the UI to present the machine currently working, aiming to make it more obvious and legible what it's happening when you progress the factory round.
  • Increased Slime and Skill Info: more contextual information is being given on the slime and skill tooltips and slots such as if the slime does not have any attacks or if a skill is an attack. This will be expanded in the future and I hope it will make it quicker and more comfortable to analyze a slime's info and put it in the context of your whole collection.


Changes:

  • Color of the text of some UI elements on the slime's attribute tab has been changed to improve contrast.
  • Opening the exit menu during battles will also pause the battle.
  • Regen mechanic severely nerfed to prevent it from breaking the game. This is temporary and this mechanic will have to be entirely rethought.
  • Potions can be created in higher levels now. A potion has a chance of being created in levels up to the level of the skill that originated it.
  • Speed boost during fury mode is meaningfully faster.


Fixes:

  • Restart button at the end of a run is working again.
  • End screen is once again displaying what slime actually completed the objective.
  • Remove button on the Vat Tube and Mulch machines is working again.
  • Speed display during battles is properly reseting between fights.
  • Glare skill no longer triggers forever.
  • Slime attribute tab is once again displaying all attributes.
  • Some portuguese missing text has been inserted.


Known Bugs:

  • The "dead slimes" UI will sometimes open empty without any of your slimes having died.
  • At certain moments the vertical health ranking is completely empty despite the slimes in battle.
  • The general bag UI sometimes loses its lower margin.
